Copy Documents from Mac to Google Docs with GDocsUploader

gdocsuploader.jpgThe coders at Google Code have whipped up a simple tool to help Mac users quickly and easily upload their documents to Google Docs. The aptly named GDocsUploader sits on your Mac desktop. When you drag a document onto the icon, it automatically wings its way to your Google Docs account.

Obviously this isn't as handy as two-way automated synchronization (any time now, Google, any time), but it does save you the hassle of firing up your browser, opening Google Docs, clicking Import, and finding the document on your hard drive. Just keep in mind that GDocsUploader is a "project," not an official tool. It's been tested in OS X 10.5, but even the creator doesn't know if it'll work in 10.4 (it should). [via Web Worker Daily]
